Yes. Under the Texas law ALL licensees need 4 hours of CE prior to their license renewal. Those who are at least 65 years old and has held a cosmetology license for at least 15 years, only require 1 hour sanitation course.

We notify the state of your CE completion. It is your obligation to renew your license through the State by submitting your renewal application. You should also keep your certificate as proof of completion.

The 4 Hour Course Package has a run-time of 3 hours and 20 minutes. The 1 Hour Sanitation Course has a run-time of 50 minutes.

Your certificate will be signed by an instructor who is approved by the Board. The appropriate approval number will appear on your certificate and can be validated by visiting the Cosmetology Board website.
